Equipment and components, and who pays the lease
Every truck, trailer and component with its lease rate. Units that must always go together are one equipment bundle (mandatory); every other unit is individual. Each person has a lease plan: Equipment Schedule Lease Rates Apply (from the rates on this page), Monthly Lease Rate, All Equipment Regardless of the Equipment Schedule, or No Charge. With no plan, an operator is not charged (No Charge) and everyone else pays the equipment schedule. Each lease rate says which roles are charged it; a role that is not ticked is never charged.
Who has each truck, trailer or bundle is set week by week on the Settlement Builder, with the day possession started and ended. Equipment nobody is recorded as having is charged to the driver on the load whose rate con names its bundle (Load Control), from pickup to delivery. A rate is never edited: a new rate starts and the old one ends the day before.
