ℹ️ How WIM Works for Your Truck:
WIM sensors embedded in highway pavement automatically measure your truck's axle weights and gross weight as you drive over them at highway speed. The data is used for pavement engineering — it is NOT linked to your vehicle ID in real time via any public API.

What IS real-time for your truck:
PrePass & Drivewyze — Your transponder communicates with weigh stations and either flashes GREEN (bypass) or RED (must stop). OS/OW permitted loads ALWAYS STOP — no bypass for oversize/overweight.
Carrier Nexus GPS Proximity Alerts — As your driver approaches a known WIM station or scale location, this platform auto-calculates your current load weight vs. that state's limits.
